Alliance agreement for the implementation phase of the Lapland Central Hospital extension project

The Lapland Hospital District Municipal Association signed an alliance agreement for the implementation phase of the central hospital extension project in Rovaniemi on Monday. The construction phase of the project will be completed in stages, with completion expected in January 2023. Geobotnia Oy is responsible for the geotechnical design of the project.

The extension project will cost a total of EUR 138 million. The investment will be paid for by 15 members of the Lapland Hospital District.

In addition to Geobotnia Oy, the parties to the alliance agreement are the Hospital District of Lapland, VERSTAS Arkkitehdit Oy, YIT Suomi Oy, Are Oy, Granlund Oy, WSP Finland Oy and L2 Paloturvallisuus Oy.

This is the first alliance-type construction project to be carried out in Lapland.
